These three little snatches of early morning birdsong were recorded on 5th February 2007 when the gardens were opened at 7.30am. It was still well before dawn and the temperature was just around freezing. The recordings have been filtered to remove most of the traffic noise, so some of the lower notes are missing. Hope this tempts you to visit the gardens early in the morning and hear for yourself!
